The Twin Love Concierge Joovy Scooter x2  Review

What is the Joovy Scooter x2 stroller?

This value for money double stroller has a stylish, graphite gray frame and large wheels joovy(7 inch in the front and 9.5 inches in the back) which make it easy to manoeuvre while pushing Twins. The lightweight and narrow design allows the stroller to fit through any door while providing ample room for your kids and space for anything and everything underneath!

Why We Chose to Review

Finding the right stroller is absolutely essential for twin moms and dads. It’s much harder to get out and about with multiples and the right stroller is the difference between being properly mobile versus just being able to move.

There are so many decisions: side-by-side vs front-and-back? Fold away or not? Capacity for storage vs space for babies? The list goes on…. Bottom-line – it’s really important your stroller fits your lifestyle and most importantly your budget!

What We Thought

The Joovy Scooter x2 has so much to recommend. Firstly, and most importantly, there’s ample room for your twins to travel in comfort and safety. Some side-by-sides, in an attempt to save an inch or two of width, need you to squeeze your toddlers in. Not here. In fact, my girls absolutely LOVE riding together in this. The straps are secure and easy to fasten and there’s plenty of room to swing a stuffed toy or two. And it’s not too wide either!

Secondly, there are loads of nice design touches to make life easier for the pilot. Cup holders are easily accessible and at a good height at the back. The canopy is a good size for proper sun-protection and has a window so your twins can make funny faces at you. The foot-brake is the same width as the stroller so you won’t kick thin air a couple of times before you get away.

Finally, there’s simply loads of storage space underneath. Even by twin standards. We’ve managed to do a pretty full shop a couple of times without the car!

Handling is fine with two hands but can be a bit of struggle with just one. If you’re trying to juggle a coffee and push, I suggest you use one of the cup holders instead, so you maintain full control.

Professional Opinion

C1C4DBBD-17FC-4920-8A42-EF82C7784AF4The Joovy Scooter x 2 is a thoughtfully designed and well-built stroller. With a RRP of $280 this really is amazing value for your money especially as the baby gear adds up for Twins. Robust, easy to use, with lovely attention to detail. And (in our household at least) loved by its passengers!

The range of colors is a huge plus as we see countless black and gray strollers, so to see a company design a twin stroller with color options is a much appreciated change by the multiples community. We reviewed the Blueberry, a gorgeous gender neutral blue but you can also choose from Red, Greenie, Orangie and Black.

We also love the one-handed fold – yet another feature that makes it standout from the competition, especially when you are balancing no doubt one toddler on your hip and multi-tasking.
